King Husein School

Coming Fall of 2026

Welcome to King Husein School – A Campus for the Future!

A new kindergarten through eighth-grade school is coming to the west side of Madera. King Husein School is expected to open in August 2026 and will serve up to 1,000 students.

SPAN Construction founder King Husein generously donated 50 acres of land, making this exciting project possible. In honor of his contribution, the school will carry his name and stand as a hub for learning, creativity, and innovation.

The campus will feature ten modern buildings, including academic wings, a multipurpose building with music, drama, and dining spaces, and a dedicated art and science building. Outdoor amenities include ballfields, play courts, and a unique covered basketball court.

King Husein School will also offer a rare STEM building for hands-on exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, giving students early access to future-ready learning opportunities. Dedicated classrooms for art and music will further foster creativity and academic excellence.

This is more than a school. It is a place where curiosity, creativity, and innovation come together to inspire the next generation. Stay tuned as construction progresses and watch King Husein School come to life.
